The mental game of pickleball
Turn a banger
into a player
The banger swings hard at everything. The player reads the point and makes the calm, smart shot — and wins more rec games. Pickleballer trains that read: one real point a day, free, scored out of 100. No luck, no quiz.
The daily game
Step into the point
Pickleballer puts you on the court, in the first person, on a neon night court. Read the point, make the call, and feel it land. It rewards reading over reflex — three ways to play in one world.

Daily · free
The Kitchen Line
Today's read — one frozen point, the same for everyone. Read it, pick the smart play, get an instant verdict, and share your spoiler-free card.

Endless
Read the Banger
The Banger swings for the fences. Read his shot, pick your counter, and shut him down. Patience beats power — and there’s no clock, so it’s a read, not a reflex.

Endless · challenge a friend
Dink Duel
Keep the soft-game rally alive, then send a friend your rally to beat. Timing is relaxed by default, so it plays as well at 65 as at 25.
Instant verdict
Player, Solid, Banger, or Pickled
Every read is graded the moment you make it — green for a pro decision, yellow for defensible, red for a banger ball. Your session scores out of 100 with a one-word verdict, and the coaching reveals why. No luck, no live AI — the same point, scored the same way, for everyone.
Pickleballer #129
Player · 93 / 100
Example share card: five reads graded Pro decision, Pro decision, Defensible, Pro decision, Pro decision, verdict Player, 93 out of 100.
Your Pickleballer
Build a baller that's yours
Customize a 3D Pickleballer — look, kit, shorts, paddle, hat, kicks and flair — then watch it step onto the night court and face the Banger. Every unlock is earned: by climbing tiers, holding your kitchen streak, and raising your Soft Game rating.
Nothing is for sale. There is no purchase path to a single item — it's cosmetic, and it never touches your score.

A clear path to better
Always know what's next
Your training pathway climbs the soft-game ladder — Dink, Drop, Reset, Hands, Erne, ATP — and each tier lights up as your reads sharpen. Targeted drills move each part of your game, and plain-language lessons explain the why. No more guessing what to practice.
What you get
Your whole pickleball home
The daily game is the core — and it's free. Around it, Pickleballer is the place your real pickleball life lives, on iPhone and iPad.

Your Soft Game rating, beside DUPR
A rating for the quality of your decisions, kept fully independent of DUPR — shown side by side, never blended. “DUPR is how you win. Soft Game is whether you held the line.”
Kitchen streak & earned Resets
A supportive daily streak with no guilt mechanics, and Resets — the in-app currency — earned only through play. Never purchasable, never pay-to-win.
A courtside scorekeeper
Keep score on the kitchen line — singles or doubles, side-out or rally, with the official server call-out and big, glove-friendly numerals.
Play as a guest
The whole game is playable the second you open it — no account, no sign-up wall. Make an account only when you want a streak, a pod, or cross-device sync.
It feels native, because it is
A Home Screen widget, a Control Center button, Siri Shortcuts, a Live Activity, and real haptics. Built from scratch in Swift for iPhone and iPad.
Yours to control
Dark, Light and High-Contrast themes, a large-text floor a step above the iOS default, full VoiceOver, and gentle reminders that are off until you ask.

Better with your crew
Play with your pod
Make a small private group with the people you actually play with. Share an invite code, see who read today's point best, and climb your pod's monthly Top Baller board.
Send a friend your Dink Duel rally to beat — the Kitchen Challenge — and see who answers back.
Your pod board is private to its members. There is no global feed and no public ranking — your game stays between you and your crew.
Built for every age
Made to be played at 25 and at 68
Most of pickleball skews 40+, with a committed 65+ core — so we designed for those eyes and hands first, and it's better for everyone.
Reads, not reflexes
The ball pauses at the decision. Timing is generous by default, so a sharp read always beats a fast thumb — reflex never gatekeeps the game.
Easy on the eyes
Big tap targets, high-contrast and large-text options, full VoiceOver, and no thin, faint type. It works in bright sun on the court fence.
Play longer, pain-free
Gentle, age-aware warm-ups and recovery routines chosen for your age band, so you protect your body and keep playing for years. General wellness, not medical advice.
Why we built it
The mental game decides rec matches
Most rec players don't lose because they can't hit hard enough. They lose the point they should have reset — the ball the scoreboard told them to swing at. That's a read you can train.
We built Pickleballer to train it: one honest point a day, scored the same for everyone, in plain words a first-timer and a tournament player can both use — on the same screen a 22-year-old and a 68-year-old can both read.

Questions
Common questions
- What is Pickleballer?
- It is a pickleball app built around a quick daily game. Each day it drops you into one real point, in the first person, and asks what you would do. You read the point, pick the smart shot, and get an instant verdict with a score out of 100 — the same point for everyone. Around that daily read there is a customizable 3D avatar, a training pathway, targeted drills, age-aware warm-ups, private friend pods, a courtside scorekeeper, and your Soft Game rating shown beside DUPR.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The daily game and the whole soft-game trainer are free, and you can play without an account. There is an optional subscription, Pickleballer Pro ($9.99 a month with a 3-day free trial), that unlocks advanced extras as they roll out — but it never gates the core game. Resets, the in-app currency, are always earned through play, never bought.
- When does it launch, and what does pre-order do?
- Pickleballer launches on the App Store on July 17, 2026, and you can pre-order it now for free. Pre-ordering means the app downloads and installs on your iPhone automatically the morning it launches — you get a notification and can start playing right away. There is nothing to remember and no charge to pre-order.
- Do I need a DUPR rating?
- No. Your Soft Game rating is earned entirely inside the app and is completely independent of DUPR. If you have a DUPR rating you can see it shown beside your Soft Game rating — the two are never blended. No DUPR account is required to play.
- What does "the soft game" mean?
- Some players just hit the ball as hard as they can every time. We call that a banger. The soft game is playing with control and patience — dinks, drops, and resets, and good decisions about when to attack. Controlled play usually beats just hitting hard, and Pickleballer helps you learn how to do it.
- Is my data private?
- Yes. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, no cross-app tracking, and no IDFA. The core game needs no account, no location, and no health or camera access. Your friend pod board is private to its members — there is no public feed or global ranking. You can export or delete your account and all its data from inside the app at any time.
- Is it good for beginners, and for players over 50?
- Yes to both. Everything is explained in plain words, so a first-timer and a tournament player both get value. And it is built for a 40+ and 65+ audience first: big buttons, high contrast, large text, full VoiceOver, and generous timing so a good read always beats a fast reflex. The warm-ups are even chosen to match your age band.
- Which devices does it run on?
- Pickleballer is a native app for iPhone and iPad — pre-order it now on the App Store. If you are on Android or a computer, leave your email and we will let you know as things expand.
